SubirBasak, President of Jubilant Biosys Ltd., and Jubilant Chemsys Ltd India, a subsidiary of the jubilant group of companies, has been involved in Business Development, R&D and market innovations as well as strategic partnerships for over 20 year. Reporting to the Board, Subir is responsible for leading collaborative Drug Discovery Services at Jubilant.
Subir has 20 over years of his biotech/pharmaceutical & healthcare experience and leadership, including rich experiences in Business Development, R&D and market innovation as well as strategic partnerships. He joins Jubilant from INTAS Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Ahmadabad, India, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer - Intas Biopharmaceuticals and C.E.O - Celestial Biologicals. During his tenure, Intas demonstrated strong growth in revenue, income and active client base. Previously, he held the position of Global Oncology Head at Dr. Reddy's Labs, where he orchestrated leadership and direction to Oncology & Specialty based businesses within the company valued at $50M top-line revenues at 40% YOY growth.
Subir has also held senior management positions at Biocon and Amgen where was instrumental in leading the development of strategy, development, and commercialization of key Strategic Alliances.
He has completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee. In addition to this he also holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, USA & Advanced Management Development from Wharton School of Business, USA. Subir is also a PhD in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from Purdue University, USA.
