She is an entrepreneurial technocrat of global standing having worked in the USA, Canada and India in the domains of stem cell research and commercialization. She has unique blend of experiences & skills of wet lab, product development to managing business. Under her stewardship, Tran-Scell Biologics, a knowledge driven technology intensive entity has evolved from its inception in 2009 as a Cord blood bank to a fully integrated biotechnology enterprise encompassing a well balanced business portfolio of adult stem cell banking and processing services with research towards 7 stem cell products in pipeline addressing Oncology, Auto- immunity and Bone/Cartilage anomalies. Her efforts are diversified in the stem cell applications enterprise encircling both the therapeutic and non-therapeutic segments with a clear progressive growth path set for Tran-Scell's home grown technologies and intellectual properties. Her pioneering efforts in adult stem cell work translation with the clinicians network in India is instrumental in bringing awareness on cell banking for approved therapies programs and joint ventures with national and multinational regenerative medicine groups in globalizing the science and business archetype.
She is a biologist by education with clinical informatics research experience having associated professionally with the University of North Carolina, USA, Ottawa Health Research Institute, Canada (2008). In India, her past associations were with Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, LV Prasad Eye Research Institute, Hyderabad and Pondicherry Central University. S Dravida has peer reviewed publications and patents to her credit and was nominated for women in leadership award in 2011 in science and recipient of 2012, small business industrial research award to develop stem cell treatment products to oral pathologies
