BioAsia Innovation award 2013


BioAsia Innovation Award was introduced to recognize Young Scientist/Students (below the age of 35 years as on 31st Dec, 2012) pursuing their research in any of the areas of biotechnology / lifesciences, and who have created a product of applied value or generated a product of utility for the welfare of human society. Ten among the best proposals of the innovators received shall be invited to demonstrate their innovations at the conference venue. One of the best chosen innovations shall be awarded the "BioAsia Innovation Award" with Prize money of Rs.1,00,000/- (one lakh rupees).


Call for Proposals!!

BioAsia 2013 invites proposals for the Innovation Award – 2013 from young Scientist/Students (below the age of 35 years as on 31st Dec, 2012) pursuing their research in any of the areas of biotechnology / life sciences, and who have created a product or process of applied value or generated a product of utility for the welfare of human society. The proposal (not exceeding 2000 words) as an abstract/summary (Only soft copies) should demonstrate novelty and practical application while capturing the eyes of entrepreneurs and being able to attract venture capital investment. Ten among the best proposals of the innovators received shall be invited to demonstrate their innovations at the conference venue. One of the best chosen innovations shall be awarded the "BioAsia Innovation Award – 2013" with a cash prize money of Rs.1,00,000/- (one lakh rupees) which will be presented at the closing ceremony of BioAsia 2013.


Please note, the proposals should contain the name of the contestant, proof of age, affiliation, the theme and the summary of the project along with a certificate from the Head of the Institution/Department that the work being presented is the original work carried by the contestant(s).


The proposals should be sent to awards@ccmb.res.in on or before 20th December, 2012. Please note that hard copy of the proposal will not be accepted. For further details, reach the BioAsia Secretariat at 040-66446477 / 6577.
